Morning everyone,i am still here even though i haven't written much or answered either. The reason being i don't feel well. I am so tired even though i sleep and my energy has got up and disappeared. I ache in all my bad joints. I actually closed my laptop down early yesterday as it was hard work even to type and unless i am lying down i feel rubbish.
I am going to the drs this morning with hubby. I have been told to go with him and tell them i am here and they are going to tag me in with hubby. I wanted to see a dr who knew me not one of the trainees who don't know me.
So please bear with me if i don't answer your blogs,i do read them even if i don't reply. I will let you all know how i get on later....

You are really going through it aren't you. I hope you get on ok at the doctors and they can do something for you. This bloody disease has a lot to answer for , hasn't it ? Keep strong, it will soon be spring and hopefully that will help a little bit
Thank you Karen, I don't remember feeling like this since i had diagnosed withthis disease which is 11yrs now. I can't wait for the better weather.
Love sylvi.xxx
Oh poor you Sylvi - I hope the doctor helps you properly. To me it sounds as if you badly need your RA meds adjusting. Good luck I hope it can all be remedied - meanwhile don't try and type welcome comments or contribute until you feel much better. We know you re there and all thinking of you and are wishing you well. Tilda xxx
You need to rest and so do I so we must listen to out bodies. the world can wait x
You've really not had a good time recently have you....Hope the docs can suggest something that might help, and maybe you need to talk to them about antidepressants as well to help you through this patch? I always find January is a bad month, as Christmas break is over and it's a long way to spring. But you concentrate on getting yourself feel better, and we'll still be here waiting for you. Polly
Sorry to hear you're so down. My remedy for this (only partial) is to go somewhere there's lots of sky and light. Just out in the car, maybe a few steps outside with light or sun on your face. It works a bit for me, though the pain might still be lurking.
Well ladies i am back and it seems i have sinus problems more antibiotics. I did see one of my regular drs and he was very good These drugs i have to take two tablets now then one every day until i finish them. I don't know how many days i have as i just took the two that was ordered.
Next wednesday i am down at rheumatology and i will tell her how i have been feeling too and hopefully i will get something sorted out.
Thank you all for caring,i am better first thing in the morning so if i don't say anything later in the day don't worry.xxxx
Hi Sylvia, i am afraid it is also the time of year to cause sinus problems etc. The drug label should say how many days you are to take the drugs and finish the course.
I am on mega doses of antibiotics this week due to a nasty chest infection so off the MTX and Enbrel. The GP also put me onto a mild dose of steroids to open the airways (I was wheezing so much I could hear it myself + all the rattles and squeaks every time I coughed or breathed - really quite interesting!). Feel better today as the meds have kicked in. New GP at the surgery who was really pleasant, kind and helpful and seemed determined to shatter the infection as quickly as possible.
Do tell your consultant how you are feeling and what they have got you on. I suffer from sinus problems myself so know how you feel, all bunged up and painful.
Hope you are getting some mild weather where you are = it is so warm here that I am in short sleeves, the heating is off and the windows open. Mind you I do think such warmth in January is unnatural and responsible for all the bugs going around.
Hope you will feel better soon. I use a nasal spray to keep my sinus open when they are bad. Otrivine do an actual sinusitis spray which is very good. Love and hugs LavendarLady xx
LL,i am so pleased to hear from you and i am sorry that you not well. It is sunny and mild here too. Did the ouse break its bank during all the wet weather we have had laterly? I will have to get my albus oil thingy out and start using that again. Trouble is when you don't feel well you can't think of any of the useful things to take.
I see my rheumy nirse next wednesday and i will tell them about what has been happening with me.
Just discovered I should have taken all the steroid tablets in one go! I had been spacing them out during the day. The pharmacist did say something about taking all 6 together but I didn't take it all in!
Been up since 5 following a bad asthma attack and couldn't stop coughing. Felt really breathless and wheezy and had to use my blue inhaler twice. Thought at one point I would have to get Himself up to call an ambulance which was the last thing I wanted, hospitals beng very unhealthy places! Sat quietly with cat on my knee and eventually dozed in the chair. Still coughing but not as badly and at least I can breathe easier.
The Ouse didn't break its banks but the water level is very high - we have been lucky here although the fens have flooded in places so much so that a seal made its way up the Ouse for 50 miles and ended up in Fen Drayton lake!
Asthma is no fun is it,i've had it all my life so i understand what your going through.I tale ventolin and becotide to ease my asthma and thankfully i only suffer when i'm ill. I am suffering this morning with my shoulder and my hands are very sore. My eyes are swollen and sore as well. I am on second day of drugs from the dr for sinus problems, i really hope they work as i am fed up feeling like chopping my head off. I have just put the heating pad on my shoulder in a hope that it will help
My hubby used to live next to the ouse when he was a lad at black horse drove and his dad took him up the bank to see the river which had burst its bank on the other side further up. It has been awful the weather we are having at the moment, you never know what is going to happen next.
Hope you soon feel better LL. Love sylvia.xxx
Sylvie, I too suffered with sinus problems and had to have them hosed out!! But never had the problem again.
Thinking of you and hope against hope that you soon begin to feel better.
