Poor circulation in legs and feet.

Does anyone else feel frozen on warm days?

I am constantly putting extra layers of clothes on, and complaining about the cold when my OH says it's quite warm. He wants to buy me a "circulation booster". But I don't want him spending money on something that might be unsuitable.

My feet can be very painful and apparently my toe bones have erosions. Will a circulation booster cause me any harm?

Any other ideas for increasing my circulation a bit - apart from exercising, which on a bad day is very difficult.

Im always cold too but have no idea about circulation booster. I also have diabetes so think my cold hands and feet are due to that too. x

I would recommend checking out Circulation Booster with GP first or consultant as they are very expensive and you wouldn't want to be wasting your money. Some of these health gadgets aren't suitable for people with RA, I would also recommend getting another opinion about why your always feeling so cold.

Hi Phoebe, I have a circulation booster and it is very good at reducing swelling in feet, ankles and legs and obviously does help circulation as well.

I can also feel cold on a warm day - don't know why = just put it down to the good old RA and the drugs.

I agree with Mand, get it checked out with your GP before spending any money as the original one is £199 although you don't pay the VAT if you have RA. Also find out why your feet are so cold. There may be an underlying reason for it.

I do find as I have plantar fasciitis in both feet that the circulation booster whilst brilliant in reducing swelling can also make the pf worse!

Good luck. LavendarLady x

Hi Phoebe and LavendarLady,

Have you heard of another circulation booster which costs less than £25?

This is a small, soft-on-your-feet, inflatable exerciser called AIRCYCLE, which is recommended by health professionals because it's such an easy way to improve your circulation, warm hands and feet, reduce cramps and swollen ankles really quickly. It also helps to relieve painful joints, aching legs and sore feet.

It's so easy to use - keep it by your chair and use it for just a very few minutes whenever you're sitting, having coffee, talking on the phone, watching t.v, etc.

To find out more info, visit aircycle.co.nz

I hope you feel better soon.
