Circulation and neuropathy

I'm mainly asking for a friend but this could be useful for myself and others. Has anyone any experience of the Revitive circulation booster for painful neuralgic legs? Looks promising but the price is enough to think that other peoples experiences worth seeking.

Any thoughts will help

No not the Revitive…..but I bought a Shiatsu foot massager by Snailax for around £40 on Amazon….I told my foot surgeon anout it & he said using it was fine…..have a look at it & run it by your doctor.

After all…all these massagers just juggle muscles around don’t they? The one I have has a heat setting too,

I do find it helps…but you do need to use it every day…..

Hi Cathie. From a neuropathy point of view a massager has not made an iota of difference to either me or another friend in terms of reducing the pain, numbness and tingling in the feet.

They may very well work as AC says for jiggling the muscles around and some do get benefit though I didn’t and got bored with using the one I inherited from someone who passed it on as for her it was a waste of time. I gave it to a charity shop so it’s done the rounds!

They all do essentially the same thing so if you’re going to buy one I’d go for a much cheaper version than the Revitive so you haven’t wasted the best part of £300 if it’s not for you (or rather, your friend).

Quite agree..I find it does relax the feet….& makes them more flexible ,but the feet still ache.

I tried the revitive massager it cost over £200 I used it as directed and only for a couple of minutes on a low setting. I think I lasted two days and then had to send it back as the pain in my knees which was the whole reason I bought it was 10X worse and became unbearable. So not for me but like most things one size doesn’t fit all. If you purchase one make sure it has a 30 day return policy and maybe ask your GP if you’re ok to use it too.

Thanks - there seems to be quite a bit of unanimity on these things. I think we'll continue to twiddle our ankles ourselves. Cx

I honestly think if that worked the NHS and physios would be recommending it. Like all these well-advertised and marketed products which know exactly which desperate people’s buttons to press you’re probably better to keep twiddling your own ankles and put the £300 towards a holiday!
