The rheumy saw me at my worst. Doctor also came in and he signed for me to have an injection. So i have had a prick in the bum and told it will take a couple of days to kick in,god i hope so i don't want to carry on feeling like this. She was very nice to me,mind you she knows me very well and she knew it was so unlike me. So here is hoping that it works or she will be seeing me next week.
Went to the hospital and came home in another, how you may ask. We have taken delivery of a peugeot 3008 active. Very nice it is too. I have got it on motorbility. We picked it up on the way home. I don't think i'm ready to drive it yet,but it is a lovely car. My hubby is pleased with it.
So here i am back home still feeling rubbish and hoping!! Hope you are all very good this afternoon. xx

Hi Sylvi,
Like you not having a good day, unlike you still not dressed! Cannot muster the strength for the shower, best do it before anyone comes the family comes home from work.
Thanks elaine, its no fun is it. I am still having problems with my breathing and i aught to go to the drs but like you i can't be bothered at the moment. Hope you soon feel brighter. sylvi.xx
Thanks for updating us Sylvi, I was concerned how you were getting on. I hope the jab works for you soon. At least you've got your new car to cheer you up Have a relaxing afternoon x
Its a black peugeot 3008 active and yes it is very nice thank you. I have now to see my dr about mtx as she didn't give me any today as it was an emergency. I don't fancy an arguement with the drs as i am sure it will be like that. I hope i'm wrong. xxx
Hi Sylvie, remember ur own advice and rest sweetie. Hope the steroid kicks in soon
Axx
Hi Silvi
I'm so glad to hear that you've had something to help you will the pain and flare at last. You've had a bit of a rough ride lately but still always there for everyone else.
Take care.
Not too much sun now.....
Judy

Hi Sylvi,
Glad you got an injection, hope it works well for you and you get some pain free time.
Good you got your car too, glad you like it.
Well done to Carol too, we have a poet amongst us!
Allannah, mary, judy, thanks girls for your good wishes,i know i have told you all before about resting, but i am ashamed to say i am not very good at it myself. This lot has stopped me in my tracks i must say. You see i don't consider myself as bad as some of you are,but i suppose i must be as i have had such a crap year. I don't know how i would manage if you all weren't here, as i don't see many people where i live. I was supposed to go out and meet a couple of friends last night, but i cried off as i didn't feel well at all,but they didn't think that instead of meeting at the pub they would come round here to see me instead. I would have made them very welcome and i suppose it might have helped me,but no they went to the pub instead. They said that next week they would come round and see me,but i'm not holding my breath for them to come.
So girls i thank you again and i enjoy our little banters that we have.
Love to you all, sylvi.xxxxx
Hope the steroid injection works wonders for you very soon Sylvi. Tilda x
Fingers crossed that at last you get some relief from the pain. Steroid injections definitely help me - I'm guessing that you have had them before ?
Rest is the name of the game today and possibly tomorrow to get the best out of the injection if it was a steroid - just reminding you - it's too easy when the pain eases off to forget to rest.
Thank you girls. Judi your right we do tend to forget to rest when we start to feel brighter. To all of you i have slept quite well, than in the last few days. I have only been up a little while so i am not sure yet how i feel. IN my head i done feel too bad, but as you all know the joints are another matter at the moment.
I thank you all for your kind wishes and the hugs.
Morning beth,Thank you for asking i did sleep better last night,i didn't get up until 7am so thats not too bad. I feel ok in my head if you know what i mean. I still ache, but thats not going to go away in a hurry is it.
All i have done so far is get dressed and got ready to go out, also done my execises for my knee and i feel like i have ran a marathon.Still in pain but i know that won't go away in a hurry.
Morning Sylvi,my internet provider was on go slow last night ( know how it feels) so couldn't send a message.Anyway hope your gp app. goes ok if/when you get one,was there any mention of an increase of MTX yeserday ? I have only been off it for 3 weeks and my joints are playing up especially my knees, shingles rash is fading nicely so will inject later. I like the sun but it was so muggy in our area last night wasn't it.
Your new black car sounds lovely, very smart, enjoy !!
I have been to bedworth and made an appt for monday morning and i am going on 7.25mg of mtx. By the time i got home i feel knocked out. I can't believe how i'm feeling at the moment. It doesn't take much to tire me or bring tears to my eyes, i can't get my head round this at all.
Anyway, tears over with and i won't be doing much else today. Yes the car looks lovely and i promise i will take a piccy of it.
hi sylvi, hope this finds you a little better, another lovely afternoon, might as well make the most of it, as like the good times it s not going to last much longer, [sorry], as others have said, take it easy and rest, take care, sue x
Sue i am going to get my rocking chair outside and do nothing but sit and rest. See beths reply from me to her,i am exhausted.
Thank you sue. xxxx
Hi Sylvi, I am late getting on here, yet it is only 9:14 am. Sure do wish you the best, and hope that jab works it's way around to where it needs to be (like everywhere?)
Had to come into my bedroom to the computer before it gets beastly hot and humid again, but alas it is already here! Talk about muggy! It has been a nearly unbearable 2 weeks to go outside! Even dangerous, the air is so heavy, so much less oxygen content!
Was your dr holding off on the MTX because of your breathing prob?
Now sit still, rock yourself into a little nap, enjoy your garden and by the weekend you should be getting some relief. 'Cept don't go cleaning and painting the walls, etc!
I had to come off it loret as i had my operation on it and then i had an infection in the scar tissue, I am on a low dose at the moment and i have to gradually buils it up again, then hopefully it will be the jabs.
I know what yopou mean about the heat it is bad over here as well, but you have had it a long longer than we have. The trouble is when it changes so rapidally like it has it mekes me suffer sadly.
we are thank you. I wish when the good weather comes it comes slowly so we can gently get used to it,not like we go from 12c to 24 in days. Hope your well.xx
I am thanks, hoping my rhumy nurse going to give me a steroid injection today as I've been off the drugs for about 3weeks now and the old hands and feet are slowly getting achy! I'll be back on the drugs in september but i'm away on a med cruise on tuesday so want to be able to enjoy and participate in it all,I'm so looking forward to it, first cruise for me, and now that I'm semi retired I plan to do what I can to live life to full, that is of my ability!back in10days so I,ll be blogging again then.take care hope the sun shines.x
