Here we are in cornwall and i am scooter-less due to a makers fault. It is going to cost me £150 to get it fixed and i am not happy. I will see about getting our money back when we get home.
I have met the lovely lisa and we are going out for a meal with her tomorrow night. There is salsa dancing at the pub we are going to. I think we will watch others making a fool of themselves!!!!
I had a really bad day yesterday i wasn't worth a bag beans. I ached,my knee was bad.The infection in my scar has gone, but it hasn't healed yet. It has taken until today to feel anything like normal since we got down here. As i have no scooter until monday i will have to take it easy until then.
We went to falmouth as hubby wanted to see the tall ships and the museum. While he did that i sat in a coffee shop. I have to say they looked after me really well. Isn't it nice when you get good service. It helped me anyway.
Thats me for today. Hope you are all well. sylvi.xxx
Ps the photo is of the lovely Lisa.

I got through ssaffa, its a forces charity that helps ex forces men and women and their families. I will get it back monday evening i believe,so the next week shouldn't be too bad i hope. sylvi.
Hi Sylvi, please find a match stick, break it and throw it away! (a cocktail stick will do).
What with the car on your return from hospital and now your scooter you are having a run of bad luck with mechanical things. (We break a match when we've had 2 bits of bad luck one on top of the other, in the hope that it breaks the cycle). Does it work? dont know but it stops me screaming !!
Superstitious - what me ?
SSAFFA, a charity a lot of people have good reason to be thankful for. (Have no contact with them just think they are another charity who need as much support as they can get. Help for heroes and lifeboats just to name another couple).
Hope you get some good weather (and your scooter back) soon.
What a shame that your scooter decided to play up when you were on holiday, but it sounds as if it's not spoiling your fun. Hope you've had a cream tea or two. Pollyx
We've had 2 cream teas and very nice they was too..sylvi.xx
£150 that is a nuisance and a bill no one needs, hope you do get it back. Jealous of the cream teas, your trip away has encouraged me to think Cornwall the next time i go anywhere. By the time you get the scooter back again you should be fully fit to go - fingers crossed.
Thats sods law regarding the scooter, especially how your could do of done with now. But that's my girl you've not let it deterred you from having a good time.
Glad the hols are going well - say hi to Lisa & hubby from us all.
Have fun Jx
Hi Silvi
How's it going? Has the weather cheered up a bit for you now?
Weather,we haven't had much good weather. Yesterday and today are going to be the best of the weather is all we are getting. We spent most of it at carbis bay. The staff in the coffee shop nhave been good to us. They let me have a proper chair ninstead of the ndeckchairs,i mean can you see me getting out of a deckchair!! lol. Alright we got charged as for a deckchair but at least they offered us an alternative. They had a good disabled toilet too. Amazing the little things things mean when you can't get about. I think i am having a bit of a flare as i'm soooo tired and my eyes looks like i've been in a bout of boxing. They are black and puffy,my pinkies are sore as well. I hope you are all well. sylvi.xx
