Anyone heard from Wishbone?

I think it was Nov/Dec time I last spoke with him here on the Board but I don’t want to bother him/send a DM. He told us he hadn’t been in great shape, but had been discharged/gone home after some improvement, having been in hospital for some weeks with a major infection. He’d had a biologic infusion prior, which took him so low. Also a new med to help his chest and that was only part of all that had happened to him, poor Wish. He did tell us all this so I’m not saying things out of turn here. Just concerned about him.

Hoping he’s got to a steadier place but just not in the mood to be on here, understandably.

No haven't I'm afraid. Hope you are OK wishbone and you too NK my update is I've been taken off all my drugs to toreaction but flaring so badly I'm back with costochondritis and not walking. So 3 x weekly steroid infusions then new biologucs possibly still jak inhibitors.

No huge blip. 2 month now. Had bad reaction to a biologic x

Hi Alannah, Sorry to hear this. You said a few weeks ago maybe around Christmas you’d not been feeling too great. I’m alright, thank you . The usual OA but RA seems to be OK. Hope you get a JAK soon.

hi, just to let you know, im ok thanks, had a lot of stomach pain from meth tabs very severe after two years of trouble free taking them, so after a long reset got onto injections and after a while everything is going smoothly but had a hernia op which went ok, so all you guys stay positive any probs ring rhumy nurses to put your mind to rest, hope your ok neonkittie17

Am glad you’re well. I think you may have thought I meant Doggybone when I was enquiring re Wishbone, who had been very unwell and in hospital for several weeks around Oct-Dec time. Similar names re you and him, re bone!

Don't worry about it 😎!! I'm doing great, just had a steroid injection into my left knee so that's sorted 🙏🏻 Haven't had problems with my knees for ages so my rheumy decided I am to go back on Leflunomide and Hydroxy (he wanted to see how Rinvoq works in its own so last October I stopped the other meds). Looks like Rinvoq/Leflinomode/Hydroxy is my magic cocktail 😃 Unfortunately I lost some weight again so eating lots of dark 🍫 and looking forward to giant Lindt bunnies!!

Greetings to my other friends too, glad you are still surviving.

I am just home after 2 1/2 weeks in hospital with pneumonia. No idea how I got it, definitely do not want it again. Recovering slowly. M x

So sorry to hear this. I got several bouts of pneumonia when on Rtx, as my igG was so low. Hope you soon feel much improved. 🩷
