Hi all, I am starting Enbrel this week after having been on humira for 6 mos. I had no bad reactions with humira- it just was not controlling my RA. I guess I am not too eager to take my first shot for fear of getting sick. I am recovering from foot fusion surgery and really feel like I have no energy for something else that could make me feel bad. How has enbrel been for anyone who has taken it? Did you tolerate it well? Not sure why I am having any fear now.... thanks in advance

Enbrel was a wonder drug for over 10 years. I got my life back! I didn’t have any side effects!

i took it for 15 years then it wore off, no side effects completley got me moving, thing to look out for is UVEITUS inflammation of the eye i had it twice in 2 years, as RA about it

used Enbrel for years, worked well, but did cause Uveitis. It is the only anti Tnf drug not to control it, so be aware

It worked well for me for about 2 years, better than Humira. No side effects at all.

Just went through the same change here. Humira quit working, Enbrel was next up. Zero side effects, nearly instantaneous relief. Working considerably better than Humira and in record time. Best wishes.

Took it for years and it worked really well with no side effects. Then it stopped so I had to go onto something else but would certainly give it a go - you may find this is the one for you. Who knows? Best of luck.

I started enbrel late 2012, it took me straight into remision, apart from one very short lived flare in 2015 I don't need any pain relief at all, I've had no side effects either. I always take it out of the fridge the day before injection day and inject into my tum. .Sometimes it stings a little, sometimes I don't feel a thing. Good luck.

Enbrel was absolutely wonderful. Took away all my pain within three days!!! Unfortunately I had a heart attack and couldn’t take Enbrel any more. Am on another biological but nowhere near as good. Hope Enbrel works for you as it did for me.

My first anti-TNF was Enbrel & it was fantastic. It worked so well, I had never felt that healthy & happy even before I developed RA. Unfortunately, I developed vasculitis so they took me off it. Obviously everyone reacts differently to drugs but give it a chance. You may be pleasantly surprised.
