Enbrel

The Enbrel works and keeps the pain and inflammation at bay but this tiredness tho! Anyone else experience this?

And also another problem with Enbrel and Ovarian Dermoid Cysts. My daughter has suffered with Ovarian Dermoid Cysts since discovered in 2015. She started Enbrel only from 2010. Methotrexate tablets were added after lockdown as Enbrel started playing up and works better now with MTX.

With Enbrel I had weeks so could go away without hauling cool bags with me, which was great. If going for a weekend could just pop sysringe in handbag. But with Orencia? Anyone know?

Had a bad flare with my hand last year changed me from enbrel to orencia. Thankfully it worked. Have dry eye and have been put on Ikervis drops also immunesuppresent. I feel absolutely wrecked. Anyone else on these eye drops ? Are they safe? Thanks

Apparently it is ok to drink with Enbrel weekly injections. Grateful for replies when convenient please. Thanks all

How has enbrel been for anyone who has taken it? Did you tolerate it well? Not sure why I am having any fear now.... thanks in advance

I'm doing really well on methotrexate and enbrel as well as flexeril for breakthrough pain. I have some pain that I know meds just won't help and that's ok. But overall I like to think I'm doing well.

Hi all,My first biologic was Enbrel and I was on it for over six years. I thought it was a miracle drug and it gave me my life back, that was until I was switched to a biosimilar called Erelzi. I was then switched to Abdumilibab(hope I spelt that right).

I’m on enbrel, methotrexate and flexeril. Take acetaminophen and ibuprofen and naproxen as needed. But my back is just giving me a fit the last few days. Been next to impossible to even move.

Looking through my notes in preparation for appointment on Tuesday I realise that I was prescribed this in 2022 when my Enbrel first failed! And it didn’t work then so why did my rheumy re-prescribe it! I imagine it was an oversight but I am furious as have just wasted 12 weeks in pain.

I’m on enbrel and methotrexate and have flexeril as needed. My pain is mostly well controlled other than my left leg which has permanent damage due to my si joint being dislocated for a few weeks years ago before I was diagnosed.

Dear All, Please may I ask if E45 creams are fine to use on Eczema patches instead of steroid creams. Or is there a really good over the counter cream for this type of condition, whilst taking RA drugs:Enbrel and Methotrexate too. Thank you

I didn't have any major skin reactions, unlike previous biologics Enbrel, Humira which I couldn't continue because of skin reactions. So I am now wondering if this change to Tyenne is causing an allergic reaction/side effect.

c) Price differential between Enbrel and Benepali. Anyone know what the savings are? The list price of originator etanercept (Enbrel, Pfizer) is £89.38 per 25 mg pre-filled pen or pre-filled syringe (excluding VAT; BNF online, accessed March 2021).

I had several biologic treatments , some of which did not really control the RA well… The best biologic was Enbrel (Etanercept) weekly injections. It gave me my life back for 14 years until I had my second knee replacement operation in 2018.

I have already tried Baricitnib, Enbrel, rituximab (allergic reaction). The consultant mentioned adulilumab or Filgotinib. Has anyone got any experience of these drugs? my consultant seemed to think side effects for methotrexate were rare?? Anyway hope everyone is ok xx
