Shingrix and Adalimumab

Hello Can anyone help with the spacing of Adalimumab and Shingrix vaccine?

I have not yet started Adalimumab (been waiting over 6 months - long story!) but rheumy nurse says prescription now with pharmacy. Second Shingrix is due 16 July and not sure what margin to leave around this vaccine.

I know I need advice from nurse but only contact is email and takes over a week to get a response so whilst waiting wondered if anyone had any experience.

Ask your pharmacist . They are are the experts on medicines and should be able to give you the advice you need.

HiI started Adumilab 4 mths ago. Just had Shingles and Covid jabs three weeks ago. My specialist was relaxed about both, as long as I was not suffering any flare up. I had them 2 days apart, no reaction. He said be sure to have the non live Vax.

Hi , I had my first Shingrix just before I started Adilimumbab, the second was eight weeks later . I had it the week I didnt have my injection. Hope this helps x
