Everybody reacts differently to these medications and if something’s not normal for you you should check with either your GP or your rheumatology team, particularly if you are experiencing swollen legs and ankles.
It may very well be that your body is reacting to the Adalimumab and the side effects are manifesting themselves two months on but you can also cook up other entirely unrelated reasons for the symptoms you now have so to be on the safe side get checked out and put your mind at rest. Hope all turns out well..
Hi, have been on the same drug for about 18 months now without side effects, I had them with methotrexate and lufluonide though. Guess we all react differently.
Thank you for your kind reply. After emailing rheumatology they have advised to stop adalimumab because apparently the hair loss is a common side effect. Don’t know the alternative until reviewed by Rheumatologist.
