Good morning I have a battle of inflammatory arthritis and for the last three months I have been having a cold shower for 2 minutes and my inflammation has gone down from 88 to 62, so must continue this pathway also good breathing too concentrate on my breath work.

Depends how desperate U r to improve your condition and make u feel better, I have lupus too , the cold water helps to reduce itching too.

Dr Mosely promoted this I recall. I’m glad it works for you.

Oh yes, I watched both Dr Mosely and Wym Hoff talk about it, and even though I don't generally like feeling cold, they both convinced me about the benefits of daily cold showers. I now turn down the shower to cold for about a minute or two every time at the end, and I breathe deeply through it. As I understand it, it's not just about cooling the body (like we cool joints with ice packs) but it's about the cold shock which strengthens/regulates the immune system and generally calms inflammation. I've hardly had a cold and haven't caught covid since doing it... plus my RA is the quietest its ever been with very low levels of medication - so who knows? It could be other factiors (other things going on health-wise for me), but I'm carrying on with it, as there's certainly no harm and it feels so invigorating!
