Our daughter has had RA for many years and I have always said I wish it were me rather than her with the condition. Now I have joined her in being diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis and am just beginning to appreciate the impact it has on life!

I have been fortunate in being quickly assessed and am now on methotrexate and folic acid , 4 doses of MEX so far and a slight reduction in swelling of my left foot and ankle but the right has now swollen. Patience is clearly needed …

Sorry you've had to join us. I find this forum very helpful, I was diagnosed 5 yrs ago and my late Mum also had RA. I had no idea of the effects on everything until I experienced it myself either x
