I am on Imraldi, Methotrexate, Pregabalin and recently statins. I started experiencing strange feelings in my legs in August, then I couldn't go upstairs left foot first. Checks showed nothing wrong. Next legs feeling heavy and going weak. I was checked again for back problems and again nothing found. I found my legs getting more heavy and numb. One night I woke with terrible tingling and pins and needles and stabbing in my legs. My Dr examined me and told me to stop the stations I started in July. I did but it is now nearly 2 weeks and everything is just as bad. I went and had blood tests and urine tests yesterday and all was ok. Dr thinks it is still like side effects and suggested weaning down on Pregabalin. Today it feels like I have a lot of bees all stinging inside my knees, toes and sometimes hands. Has anyone weaned off of these and do you get withdrawal symptoms? If anyone has any ideas I would be most grateful. Thank you.

Nerve pains in legs, feels like bees in my knees , legs and sometimes arms.
I just don't know. I feel I have been on the phone to my Dr or going there such a lot recently. It looks like Methotrexate or Imraldi could also be the cause as have the same symptoms listed as side effects. Having stopped statins and now reducing Pregabalin I wonder when I would expect to see any improvements if it is either of those? My rheumatologists secretary was no help at all when I left a message on her phone.
I suppose I have to follow GP's advise for now but if you read side effects it sounds just like me. Methotrexate, Imraldi and statins sound similar. I started Pregabalin for nerve pain in 2021 but wondered if it was a side effect to Methotrexate or Imraldi causing the first nerve pain. My GP asked if Imraldi was one of the ones that ends with mab or bad as they are renowned for side effects I told her it was Adalimumab. Nothing can be done about that though until I can see my rheumatologist and he hasn't responded to a message that his secretary has sent to him.
Thank you
Hi, I’m having odd feelings in my legs too. I started metoject in April along with s short course of prednisoline. The odd sensations started as soon as I stopped the prednisoline. I was to see the rheumatologist or rheumatology nurse after 8 weeks and so far have no appointment. I’ve left messages on the helpline but had no response. My gut feeling is that it’s the metoject. Amitriptyline isn’t helping.
Do Not rely on gps ' levels ' but go to a functional dr to get a full panel done on a cellular level , all micronutrients should be tested 🌹
