Thank you to all for your kind comments about my hand. It has been a painful time since Christmas 🤶🏻 but the prednisone seems to have kicked in today day 4 and the pain is reduced

Great to hear the prednisolone is kicking in...I am on day 5 and feeling that euphoric 'better' feeling. We must now try not to overdo it, though it's nice to get some of those jobs done that have been on my mind for too long.
That's so good to hear Green! I finally got my appointment to have a steroid injection tomorrow at 11...only because I chased them up though! They said 'how urgent is it?' I replied 'well my husband had to dress me this morning that's how urgent it is!' I pray that like you it takes away the pain. Xx

My partner really appreciates it when I'm on an increased dose of steroids. I whizz around doing lots of things and am much more cheerful, although I talk too much! My adult children can spot immediately if I'm on an increased dose because of the overactivity - or mania as my daughter calls it. It's so tempting to stay on a higher dose and feel so much better - but I remind myself of the disavantages and reduce it back.
