My partner jim is out of hospital, something which I didn't think would happen. He still has covid so testing every day. I don't have it. His daughter cannot visit as she works in a care home. So between his son and I we are caring for Jim! I don't live with Jim so am having to devide my time to babysitting my granddaughter and going to see Jim and I work Monday to Friday. I am staying over 4 times a week and his son will have to do the rest. Unfortunately I have a lot of hospital appointments and a few funerals this week and next week, and I have my daughter visiting too. He is very weak and tired and lost so much weight, around 4 stone! But his appetite has slowed started to come back. I have just been with Jim since Friday to today but I had to come home as am at work tomorrow morning very early. I will stay over at his house tomorrow night. Thanks for listening.

I’m so happy to read that Jim is home from hospital. You must be so relieved. You need to take of yourself, because you’re going have a busy few weeks.
That's really good news Carol, I hope he can gradually build some strength up now. You have a lot on your plate at the moment, don't neglect yourself. All the best. x

Oh I am so pleased for Jim that he is home as there is no place like home and I know how important it is as that is all my mum wanted. That being said please take care of yourself as it sounds like you have a lot of things to manage and it is so important that you look after yourself too. Take care xx
Glad to hear he is showing signs of improving, As others have said, take care of yourself too. You can’t pour from an empty cup as they say.

Great news so happy for you. Is he not entitled to care help from the Government? This is the time to look after yourself too. I am sure many others would have said this too.
