Hi, has anyone here had difficulties getting medication delivered from this company? It was originally Health At Home and I never had any problem with them, since Siensus took over the delivery of my meds it’s been a nightmare. My meds have not been delivered and trying to contact them by phone or email is proving very difficult. Can anyone advise me ? Thanks in advance 🥴

Siensus delivery
Hi AngelMar, you might like to try doing a search for Sciensus on this site, and you'll get lots of hits. My son has his Enbrel delivered by them, and we've generally had good service without too many problems. Cheers
I would suggest ringing your hospital dept as they issue the prescriptions and tell them you're having difficulty
From what I know it's still the same company as Health Care At Home they just re branded it, I put up a link a few days ago about them how they've still got their contract I'll never know. I've found if I ring spot on 8 in the morning I get through pretty quickly.
I had an issue where via the app I learned that that my prescription hadn’t been received. When I chased my team they had sent it 3 weeks previously. When I then challenged Sciensus they admitted they did have it, but just hadn’t processed it. This resulted in a 2 week delay, thankfully I have some in reserve from missing due to taking antibiotics, so I never missed a dose. I believe it’s the same people running it, they just changed the name due to the bad reputation healthcare@home had. Inform your rheumatologist your having issues. They are under monitoring with the CQC and at risk of losing their contract with the nhs
My own experience is that I’ve sometimes had to wait up to 20 mins on the phone to be able to speak to someone but they’re always very helpful and do what they say they will.
Search this site. There’s been several posts recently.
As others have said, Sciensus and healthcare at home are one in the same: only thing that’s actually changed is the name. If you’ve never had problems with them previously, count yourself very lucky - I had a good spell of about a year in the middle, but the first year and this last year have been absolutely appalling from start to finish. At the moment, there’s at least one post like yours on here a week, and I’m also seeing posts in other groups unrelated to arthritis. If you put Sciensus in the search box, you’ll see you’re one of many experiencing the same thing. The only advice I can give is log every contact you have, ask for the names of the people you speak to, and submit a written complaint.
Hello AngelMar, I recently had to contact my hospital department after I'd spent 4 days trying to get in touch with Sciensus by phone, no one ever answered , then after I'd recieved a call back from the hospital, Sciensus phoned me that very same day arranging my medication, apologising and siting computing updates as the cause of delay. My daughter has now put the app on my phone so hopefully it will be better.
Hi there, yep it is different the other people was always reliable and I got nice early deliveries or late ones now it is always in the middle of the day which mucks the day up as you have to be in and I can never get through to anyone to change this Grrr. Hope yours gets sorted though xx ( just seen others are saying it is the same company so this does not make a lot of sense. Good Luck😀
