I dont often post but believe me it is part of my daily routine to keep up with this great group.
My delivery for Methotrexate did not arrive on 23.12.2021 when it was due but had the sharps bin delivered. I have chased Lloyds Clinical Homecare 4 times now and today they informed me that there were problems getting supplies into the country. I have sent an email to my Rhuematology Department at the hospital. I am in West London.
I wondered if anyone else was having a problems with their prescriptions? I am worried as I had to come off Methotrexate early this year due to contracting Covid and my RA came back with a vengeance .......... and I have not been the same.

Yes. I am in Yorkshire and have mine delivered by Health care at Home.Last time they requested my prescription 4 times and I rang the prescribing line every day for 10 days with no response. Eventually I contacted PALS and my consultants secretary and they did one for tablets I had to collect from the hospital. Then I got my delivery. They said they didnt know what had happened!
I remember taking tablets and they made me very sick .... hate the thought of having to take them ..... but I guess it would be better than no medication at all. It is concerning that they are having problems with getting the supplies into the country! I wonder how many more people will be affected.
I have had the same problem in Lincolnshire, I've not been able able speak to anyone on the phone. I had been going back and forth for weeks over confirming a delivery date, they cannot deliver on my day off work, so arranged for today when hubby is home to then be sent a text this morning saying its been cancelled 😪
I'm on my last pack of medication and getting worried that it won't arrive by the time I need it.
I've emailed today twice and no reply yet.
It's not very good service at all, I understand they might have delays but when it's a service for medication we need urgently they must have a back up plan surely 🤔
No, Lloyd's 😪 my one day off they can't deliver to me, so I'm going to have to ask them to deliver to work if they will allow it. I had no problems with health care from home, but Lloyd's are horrendous to get held of and deliver x
Have you spoken to them about having your prescription delivered to your gp? I am on abatacept and they delivered to my gp when I was in the office and too not to commute with my drugs due to refrigeration requirement. I am also certain that you can arrange a pharmacy pick up too. Speak to a manager, Lloyds cancelled and rearranged my delivery to the following week which would have meant I was 4 days late taking my weekly medication. They delivered it on the Saturday as a special delivery.
I'm gutted I don't receive from health care at home anymore, they was much better and I could always get through on the phone. Lloyds do not have good reviews online when I searched for a phone number. I didnt even receive any contact details from them, whereas health care at home I received a pack before they started to deliver to me.
I will end up complaining if no one confirms a new delivery date as I'm a week into my last pack now 😭
Went to my chemist this morning to collect my methotrexate injections and they only had 3 not the 4 I requested will let me know when they get more. Seems to be a nationwide problem I’m in Berkshire x
I'm in the NW & have mine on repeat through my GP (Shared Care). My h collected my complete repeat this morning from our regular Pharmacy including my usual 4 x 17.5mg Metoject. Maybe it's a particular problem with the wholesalers Lloyds use? I can't see if some are still receiving their MTX injections it's a countrywide issue, unless they are all getting them from the same wholesaler & they will eventually use all the stock up in the various doses. Or it could be they're dealing with backlogs being the time of year.
I use my gp app to order repeat prescriptions, my local pharmacy collects the prescriptions & I collect it, haven't had a problem so far except metoject is always listed on my app as unavailable so have to make a special request in a box on the app
Sorry can't comment as only had limited experience of drug deliveries, but really hope things work out so you don't have to miss your medication. Go Well X
