Is anyone else being affected by Sciensus stopping evening deliveries? They stopped delivering on Saturdays in my area a long time ago so offered a 6-9 delivery in the evening instead. They've now stopped that too. They've told me I can have them delivered to a neighbour or delivered to work. Neither of these options is possible for me. Worried now that I have no way of getting my meds.

Sciensus deliveries
I wasn’t aware they had stopped evening deliveries. This would be problematic for me also. I’m due a delivery soon so I guess I’ll find out.
Thanks for your reply. I wasn't aware myself until I tried to arrange my next delivery. They're posting online that there are 'multiple alternative options' but offered me only delivery to work or to a neighbour. I've emailed them asking them to clarify the 'multiple options' so we'll see if they reply. Very best of luck in trying to book your next delivery if you also need evening or weekend.
I checked with my delivery company (was Heathcare at Home, now Alcura) some years ago if they would deliver to my local pharmacy, having checked with the pharmacy that they would be happy to take the delivery every month. That’s worked very well for me for years so it’s worth trying. As long as there’s someone to sign for the drugs and it’s a reliable, close address to yours and open for delivery times there shouldn’t be a problem.
Worth trying as it saves you hanging about waiting and not having to bother the neighbours.
Thanks for your reply. My rheumatology department have already checked and they have categorically refused to deliver to a pharmacy. I really can't understand how they are allowed to not provide either a weekend or evening delivery. Working full time with this disease is hard enough without the stress of being without my drugs.
That’s not on is it. Your rheumatology department pharmacy should now ensure they have a provider who can deliver to patients outside working hours and if not, why aren’t they changing to one who can. Worth writing to the CEO of your hospital and explaining - they are duty bound to follow up on complaints and respond and attempt to rectify the situation. Also write to the CEO of Sciensus and ask them to clarify why a pharmacy is not suitable to accept deliveries when other companies are happy to do so. None of that may work as you're dealing with big organisation as little person (if you see what I mean) but it’s def worth a try.
A lot of work for you but we’re all getting used to doing our own admin these days………………..best of luck and hope you find a solution.
That's very difficult for lots of people. The firm must have got the contract with the promise of deliveries at weekends and evenings and are now changing the service.
You need to make a formal complaint to the Health Board for your area, with copies to PALS (if that's your patient complaint organisation), and your Rheumatologist.
if all else fails check with your local pharmacy to see if they will accept them on your behalf and then you can collect from there… a long shot but it may work!
All the best

They deliver to me between 8am to 8pm, ive not had anything to say the times are altering.
Write to the Secretary of State for Health I did via my MP and got a detailed reply. things then changed for me and no more difficulties since. Just be clear and give dates and times of conversations although I did always follow up with an email and did a BCC copy to myself. I recently had contact with Sciensus as my hospital made an error on the prescription and they asked me if they could contact hospital so I said yes and it was corrected in the week. If your hospital has a Biologics Co-ordinator as mine does then it'd be a good idea to contact them too. As in general RA meds are just part of the package as Sciensus do Chemo drugs too so it's not going to be an issue just related to RA patients.
It seems like this is yet another postcode lottery. I haven't had any issues with them and I've been using them and HaH for years. My hospital started asking patients about issues as they'd obviously heard some negative stories and were trying to gauge the patient experience. So I would also inform your rheumatology team if you're having problems and they may start to apply pressure or look for alternative providers.
In the meantime, I guess it's taking time off work or working from home if you can. Not ideal at all.
Yes, they told me when I went to book a delivery!! It's not helpful as I work full time 🤨
can you get them delivered to work?
