Make sure you send yourself a copy of anything you send by email to them as they don't reply, and if it goes pear shaped it will help to advise the hospital just how bad this organisation is now.

You can usually find anything you send by email in your sent messages so no need to send to yourself.

I'm using a Mac so have no read receipt box. And I find a BCC is reassuring that it's been received especially if like Sciensus they sent a 'received' automatic response 2 days after getting my message. And no response to my request for a temporary stop for a month until a week later and that was an automatic we'll deliver in July. I'm saving the NHS money and whilst I sympathise they are busy and I had already spent 40 minutes in a phone queue and so am going to put in writing to hospital. It might make no difference but I'll feel better. lol

I use a Mac too. I don’t have a read receipt box either, but even if you do it relies on the person at the other end allowing read receipts to be sent. BCC gives you no more information than if it’s in your sent box (emails only go the sent box after it’s sent to all addresses -it sits in the outbox until then). However, if your system works for you stick with it!🙂

I'm a sort of make absolutely sure person and yes it works for me. Mac's can be brilliant and so easy to use but I do think it goes a bit quicker than my brain at times. I need a personal geek at home !
