Sciensus !!

Never had a problem till Wednesday. Starting Amgevita, delivery arrived last week nurse booked to come out Wednesday just gone. Sat twiddling my thumbs got, to 4 o-clock thought well they aren't coming now!

Rang Sicensus to see what the problem was.... oh we can see on your file it's written that a nurse needs booking but no one implemented it!! Let me see the next available appointment is mid May, Now at this point I was getting rather angry but I didn't raise my voice or swear (only because 2 of my grandchildren were here), You need to go away and find me an appointment in the next couple of days!

Meanwhile I rang my homecare pharmacy at the hospital, it turns out I can do it myself if I want , as I'd been on benepali and mtx I already know how to inject. The chance of an allergic reaction is minimal and as I live 40 yards from my hospital they told me to go to a&e if i felt unwell.

In went the injection straight into a blood vessel so got a lovely bruise 🙄 and all is well.

Sciensus meanwhile got a rather telling off for their incompetence from my hospital and have 20 days to answer my complaint 🤷‍♀️

Rant over..... and all is good once more. 👍 Hope you are all having a pain free day x

A doctor hit my blood vessel in the thigh about 6 weeks ago and the clot was agony and only now has the egg lump gone down. So keep an eye on that bruise. I wrote to MP about Sciensus and got a reply from her and CQC commission appalling service. I suggested Amazon would be better at least they turn up . Lol x

Same issue. New delivery of benepali arrived as anticipated on Monday. Nurse was booked for following Monday. By the afternoon no sign or text messages so rang and joined the long phone queue to find out if and when nurse was supposed to arrive. It was noted that I was down for a nurse visit but passed around the departments until finally put through directly to the nurses themselves who stated that nothing had been booked!!!!!!! Ended up just injecting that evening to get started as I have been in a flare since January. Complained to my Rheumy department.

So sorry to hear your been left to suffer so long and get on with looking after yourself, very poor.

I’ve just had my first delivery of imraldi on Wednesday, from Sciensus, my nurse is booked between 8 to 5pm for Monday, I’m not confident that a nurse will show up, as nobody’s confirmed, I feel confident enough with the pen, my cat was diabetic so not scared of needles,

The Rheumatology nurse did go into quite good detail, I’ve been in constant pain since November, my leflunomide was reduced due to low white blood cells, has improved now thankfully, except the pain, if so I will be injecting Monday night, hopefully you’ll get some relief soon, I’ll keep crossed whatever I can manage at the moment xx 🤗

I can sympathise. After 7.5 years of no issue deliveries on Saturdays, I've had three consecutive failed evening deliveries over the last month (they have stopped Saturday deliveries as of earlier this year). The last one it's obvious they were running late and just cancelled the delivery because of the texts I received which were actually still within the two hour slot. 1st text on the day said next but one delivery, then a few seconds later it said sorry haven't been able to deliver. I would imagine they were running behind and I was probably one of the last deliveries on the route.

The first two failed deliveries I was advised was caused by dispensing issues. Not really good enough 'cos they should have advised in advance they weren't going to deliver but still sent the second text on each occasion.

For now I've not bothered phoning them but after the 3rd failure they sent a text saying to book via their app, well that may be but I can't actually login to it these days as get a failure message. I've another already booked delivery due on 17/04 (should have been this week but moved due to outstanding previous delivery) which I'm not confident will turn up. I should really phone about the missing delivery anyway especially as they are not aware I have a few spares in the fridge. Really isn't good enough but unfortunately I am well aware of the issues with them over the years I've had deliveries, just never had a problem until now. I hope all gets sorted for you.

No it may not have left there site. I had this. The same issues and wording and it’s misleading wording. Mine said next on route then unable to deliver.I was cross and wrote to them and MP and they said they were changing this wording on the texts. I was told van broke down I said in the 2 minutes between texts ? Please complain to your MP as the government are reviewing the contracts as so many been let down and all comments help build a true picture of the service they provide.

Glad you got it sorted fairly quickly. Just the name Sciensus raises my blood pressure. I have had many problems with them ever since they took over Healthcare at Home/ Lloyds. My hospital and I have separately raised complaints. Our NHS is paying them and their shareholders big money, and they continue to mess up......
