Does anyone get burning feeling in the front of both thighs? I feel like I have run a marathon, legs feel really heavy but I’ve only walked the dog. I can wake up in the morning with this burning sensation also. Is this all to do with RA?

Burning pain in thighs
I get this too but have fibromyalgia as well as inflammatory arthritis and can't tell which is causing it
Yes me too but worse when I sit down.
One of the first signs of fibromyalgia for me took another 2 years before diagnosis. RA and fibromyalgia together is quite common. Look up symptoms of fibromyalgia I bet you have more symptoms than you think as we tend to blame RA.
I have ankylosing spondylitis and get this, it intensifies the more I stand still, and get instant relief when I sit down. I’ve been told it’s my tendons are inflamed and tight, I do find if I’m doing my stretches it’s less of an issue. Also happens out walking and I have to sit and rest. With AS we need to do daily stretches otherwise stiffness and pain worsens
Yes I get this. It’s not painful but it is a very unpleasant sensation of ‘glowing’ down the front of both thighs. I am aware of it most days when I go to bed or wake in the mornings. Sometimes it wakes me in the night. It is definitely worse for me when I lie down. I have mentioned this symptom to my rheumatoid specialist who said she’d not heard of this as a RA symptom.
Omg, that is exactly what I have all the time! Pain mainly on my left thigh! The pain will wake me up and also get pain down my shins too. I have pain now as I am writing this, shooting pain.
Yes I get referred pain in my outer thighs it’s awful especially when I hoover or mop. Mines a pinched nerve in my back Causing the referred pain in the thighs .
My pain is similar to constant sunburn on my thighs.
I have had this in both thighs for many years. Incredibly painful. I’ve been told it is Meralgia Paresthetica. Nothing seems to help me but hope you can get some clear answers. Hugs…
