Hi, is the inside of your mouth red and shiny ? You may have mucositis a common side effect of MTX and a reaso why many people switch to MTX injections.

You might be best to let rheumatology know if it is troublesome, or if minor a salt rinse may sooth your mouth.

But don't let things get out of hand.

It's gone now but my face felt like it was burning this morning, I'm gunna ask next time I go to the hospital if I can have the methotrexate injections instead as my auntie is on them and she doesn't get any side effects.

I had this in my stomach so awful and like being on fire inside. The MTX was stopped.
