Dry and burning lips

Hello, has anyone experienced dry and burning lips? If so, how do you make it better? I've had it for the last week or so, and it isn't settling down. My last blood report showed low blood count and i'm wondering if that is the reason.

Oh dear I've got it in my eyes and my hands on steroids to help me but goin bk docs for some drops.lve got e cig an that can make my lips sore it's all abt the dry thingy bones as well it's nasty !!!!!!!!🙇‍♀️

Yup so nasty! My eyes get dry too. Eye drops help.

I had this terribly when first diagnosed and put on sulfasalazine. My doctor had me take 4 mg daily of folic acid and it cleared right up. I am now down to 1 mg daily and have no mouth/ lip problems at all. I’m so sorry for your pain! I know very well how miserable it is to even try to eat or drink. I hope my experience can help you.

Thank you! Maybe I'll take more folic acid. I'll ask my doc when I see her later this week. Yes it is so painful! I smile and laugh a lot and it is so brutal!

Yes I've got eye drops but I think I need some off my doctor it's so nice on here to be able to chat and so reassuring as you feel so isolated with RA wish I had a group near me, I'll ask nxt time in clinic thanx

Hi there. How are you? I get that. My doctor says that it can be a vitamin deficiency like vitamin b2. My lips improve on vitamin b2 but if i stop it just comes back. Boo lol .😢

Yup, I’ve been taking vitamins and Vaseline. It seems to help
