Am I the only one, sitting with my feet immersed? I do hope not.

Ahh I can feel the relief! 😀 🦶 🦶 I will be doing the same a little later but indoors. I’ve just spritzed mine with a soothing spray by Gehwol, feet up on top of bed relaxing. Rare I do that but I’ve been on my feet gardening a fair while today. Hope your feet feel refreshed.

Gardening, in this heat? Really?

Nothing strenuous, but time consuming. Pruning/dead heading roses and so many of my edibles in pots need water several times a day. Picking raspberries and salad things and sowing more seeds.. took a lot of time as I’ve a large garden and hundreds of roses and dozens of pots! Keeps me out of mischief!

So soothing especially as I got badly bitten by insects on Monday

in reply to Aliceeliza

Oh Avon skin so soft is brilliant to ward off the little blighters . I joke not the military use it . My OH is often bitten alive but started using this last year when he exercised outdoors . No bites whatsoever x

Just taken my feet out of the bowl as we speak, what with a cold flannel on my forehead, cold drink all I'm short of is the knotted hankie on my head, some sand and a donkey passing by. Although being indoors that might be a bit messy...as well as odd!! Hope you got some relief there. Stay cool. 😎 👣

Yes Pippy I sat with my feet dunked, lolly ices at the ready, plus J2'0s with ice on tap and cooling spay on hand for the dog, who continued to look bemusedly behind him as he passed me by each time must of thought where IS that coming from! 😊

Sounds bliss and no doubt the dog although bemused felt better for being spritzed by the cooling spray too!

No you are not the only one Hezekiah, sometimes it feels as if the burning, twitching etc won't stop. Yesterday I had to give up on my compression stockings and just keep my feet up. I also find that cooling sprays help a lot as well.

I’m with you too with the bowl and feet immersed. So nice. I had three showers yesterday to try and soothe my joints too. I am so excited that the intense heat is due to reduce over the next few days. Fingers crossed it happens. The weather forecast seems to change from hour to hour. We have had no rain, not storms but an area of Greater Manchester which is around 15 mins from me had storms and heavy rain last night. I got storm envy last night. 🤣 xx

I am happily doing this as often as I can sit down undisturbed! Quick heat relief too from immersing hands beyond the wrist in cold water - aaaah, bliss ....

in reply to tangolil

Oh running cold water on the wrists is an instant cool down 🥰

Not quite sitting with my feet in a bowl but I’ve got plenty of ice packs which I can strap around my ankles and as soon as they’ve defrosted they’re back in the freezer of course they’re covered in a purpose built cloth nothing worse than ice burn haha.

Be careful if sitting in the sun with your feet in water. The water magnifies the Ray's and you can get very burned feet. I know this from experience😧
