cool pack
I use one of these (luckily given to me when I first started on biologics).
But if just going away for 2 weeks (ie 2 injections) I don’t bother as most of them can be out of the fridge for at least 14 days. Check your leaflet.
I’m on benepali and it says in the pil that it can be kept out of the fridge for up to four weeks at temps up to 25°c (don’t re-refrigerate after) I don’t carry mine in a cool pack when going away but it would depend where you are going to. I don’t go to hot places or on planes really.
This is what I use, it's good. I paid the VAT, but I think we are exempt from paying it so check if you decided to buy one.

I use that one too Paula-C ....have done for 4 years now ...excellent product. Even kept temp. down after Gatwick Security insisted on ‘swiping’ inside the bag!!!! Grrr!
Last time we went through security they insisted on opening mine up to check what was inside. When my husband saw it was open he had a proper hissy fit, got really annoyed with the man on security, telling him it's not a fridge, he was letting warm air in and it would make the temperature rise. I let it go through the X-ray so husband couldn't understand why it had to be opened. The temperature did rise a bit, but surprisingly it did go back down again.
We're going to the Caribbean and stopping overnight in a hotel evening before the flight. I've got two extra jel packs which I'm going to take with me already Frozen, I've contacted the airport hotel and they are going to put the spare jel packs in their freezer for me. In the morning we can then swap the jel packs over and start again. Husbands been experimenting and he's managed to keep the temperature inside the case to below 8 degrees for around 20 hours, but that's not long enough, there's always the possibility of flight delays.
I've contacted the tour operator and told them I'm taking temperature controlled drugs on to the plane and requested an extra carry on bag, I'm being allowed one extra bag weighing up to 5kg, don't think they can refuse you beings your carrying essential drugs with you. x
thanks for that ,good thinking, we stop in a hotel the night before the flight i'll email them, i'm sure they've had other people needing a freezer!
If your going to do it the jel packs need to be frozen flat, if they're not you won't be able to zip the case up. I'm going to put the ones for the hotel freezer in plastic box so I know they will be okay.
That's the one I use but they do insist on it being taken apart at security but I just get it back in asap it's been fine enjoy your holiday
