Mum ultrasound

Interesting be outside a hospital as Mum had an ultrasound booking. It’s a whirl here away from the main city hospital of people coming in BUT everyone being so good wearing masks being polite and staying away from each other.

Mum knows when out sits in the back seat away from me and when home straight upstairs change clothes and shower.

With step dad with COPD it’s covering all bases and I do t want anything either so I am all masked up for her return to car too

Happy days🤪

It makes you think how things were before this virus to pick your mum up go to the hospital and go in with her take her home etc. Now it must feel like a military operation and rightly so but how things have changed. Hope your mum gets on ok with her ultra sound and you are all ok. It was good to hear others were acting responsibly outside the hospital too, we only tend to talk or hear about the bad examples or actions of people. Take care xx

Well done getting mum to the hospital I know it a Herculean effort for you these days . Good people wearing masks and distancing unfortunately the ill people are the ones who do things properly . The high streets near me are really busy and people huddled in takeaways . Takeaways is where people are congregating to socialise. .

Hope moms scan results are good.

It's great to know that so many are doing as they should! And what a great job you're doing yourselves to keep everyone safe! I hope your Mum gets some good results soon. Xxx

Pleased to hear it went well, Deeb. I’m taking my Mum to the local hospital tomorrow for her Covid vaccine. It was on the local news the other day showing the huge queue! Hoping it will go okay for us, as she’s easily upset these days, x

If you think there might be a queue and IF you have a light camping folding chair that might be a handy thing to take? My Mum was very impressed with her vaccine system last week she came out happy!

I do have one, and that’s a great idea. Will get Hub to fish it out just in case, thanks! x

Kind of you to take your Mum but sensible precautions too.I've got to go for another CT scan later this month and will have to take extreme care ... but it's important to know whether the chronic PEs I had diagnosed in September have cleared and for someone to work out why I had developed them in the first place.

It’s our version of Russian roulette I said to Mum as you have fingers x when walking in that everybody are playing by the same rules!
