Was not expecting to be here today but my Mum called on Saturday her birthday too, distressed as losing blood again. So I have thrown an overnight bag together for me told her to call111 whilst I drove like a woman possessed and now here we are nearly 2am and 4hrs in.
She has been triaged and bloods taken but it’s going to be a long long night.
Meant to be doing a daughters lunch today ...........
However incredibly busy behind the scenes here and quite impressed by the calm and also quiet of the place and everyone wearing masks.
I am trying to hide from Mum that a/ shattered and b/ in agony with joints and swelling ankles and wrists.

Oh how worrying - you just go from crisis to crisis . Hope things are sorted out for Mum, and that your health doesn’t have more setbacks as a result of the tiredness and stress.
Aww Dee sweetheart I am so sorry to hear that your mum is ill and you are both in A and E. I do hope by now that it has been identified what is going on for your mum and she is being treated.
Bless you my heart goes out to you too as you must be in agony yourself.
Oh Dee your poor mum and poor you. I do hope the doctors can help your mum. I hope there’s a nice coffee shop for you (Costa at my hospital) to get your caffeine ‘medicine’ and something to sustain you. X
Yay got back to Mums house at 5am both went straight to bed. they have said no infection showing so said best thing to ring consultant on Monday and get him updated so he can decide course of action. They reassured her which was good not to panic.
So pleased you are both back at your mum’s. I really hope you both manage to catch up on some much needed sleep and rest. Really hope your mum’s consultant can sort the best way forward for your mum next week. Gentle hugs and much love to you both. xx
