Morning all,I must apologise for abruptly leaving you all on Sunday but, things took a turn for the worse. Whilst waiting for 111 to call me back my heart rate and blood pressure went sky high, long story short I ended up in hospital after an ECG at local walk in centre. All is good now,a few things need tweaking and follow ups from my own GP,which will be interesting with how things have been with my surgery. ..I have also been prescribed through hospital Omeprazole,so hoping that wil help my tummy. I am hoping that I can now push my doctor to help with my first consultation as I feel all the pain I've been in the last couple of weeks exasperated this situation
I just want to say a massive thank you to you all for your support and kind messages as I have only just seen some of them now. Also a sad sign of the times is whilst in hospital Sunday night, the department I was sent too got to the point where they couldn't take in anymore patients there, but only Covid positive patients for a separate ward, and there were quite a few that were admitted......
I'm sorry that things got to that point but in a way also pleased as it sounds as if you got some help and can now see a way forward. Good luck with speaking to your surgery and hopefully they'll now step up and help you to get an earlier rheumatology appointment. 🤞
No need to apologise whatsoever. I'm sorry that things got so bad you ended up in hospital but hope that these tweaks and follow ups from your GP are a way forward and things start to improve for you. Sending some supportive wishes out to you xx
Hi girlafraid. I'm so glad things have started to happen for you now. Let's hope they continue and you get your appointment.🤞 All the best and keep in touch. xx
You sound much brighter. Hope things move forward quickly for you .x
