New knee!

Hi all,

Well that’s just over a week post op and I’m settled back at home! Doing my exercises and also resting when required.

Still feeling a little fragile but very happy 😊

Surgeon said my knee damage was horrible, and def rheumatoid. So glad I went ahead!

Another bit of good news is that my CRP is down at 7! Lowest it’s been for almost 4yrs!

So, all is good 😊

Thanks so much for your support 😊❤️

That’s wonderful news and also reassuring for others who might have to undergo this in the future. Spring is on the way and I’m sure with your new knee and a great CRP it should be a very enjoyable one for you.

That’s really good news. Make sure you keep going with the exercises even if it’s hard work. People who exercise properly definitely make the best recovery.

My plaster cast (broken wrist) comes off in a couple of weeks and I got the “you must do you exercises “lecture from my podiatrist last week but she was preaching to the converted. I knew that already from when my husband got his new hip a couple of years ago - he did his exercises religiously and recovered really well and quickly so good luck with your new knee - may it carry you onwards for many pain free miles 😉

Great news! So thankful all went well🙌 continual prayers for a full recovery, keep doing your exercises and rest. Don't over do. I am 1 year post op for my right knee and 5 months left knee.👍 and I also am glad I did it. My surgeon said the same thing, bad shape! Psoriatic arthritis. Take care and heal.😊
