lots of luck👍👍😊 I did the same bought some rep attire for the hospital.Didnt need them for very long. Was sent home after three days😊The surgeon smiled and said now you will not have problems with this knee any longer.😊Best thing I did!

My dad had both knees replaced and he is like a new man now, and recovered quickly had them done at age , 65 and 70. He said the discomfort after the op, was nothing compared to the pain he suffered before the op, good luck all will be fine.

I had a new knee a couple of years ago - not gonna lie the first two weeks pre op are the worst and as long as you do all the physio you will find it amazing. I did all the physio and now cycling, play badminton and aerobics and my knee bends fully. My mum didn't do them all and as a consequence can't bend it as far as I can. You will be amazed at the difference. All the best

Best wishes Sarah. Hope everything goes well. I went on the waiting list in March 2019 and bought some new nightwear in anticipation. Still got the tags on as I'm still waiting.😊

I had mine done privately as well. Here in France they wouldn’t do I if you hadn’t taken Mtx first or the triple. Finally I found a private specialist who found a way.

I meant generally with RA but more recently with my knee. Dmards are doing their job with the rest 😊

Good luck you'll be dancing again soon. I sent my husband to M&S to buy me new jim jams as was an emergency inpatient. All going well I thought he can't go wrong there. He bought respectable ones only trouble was had elastalene in the fabric to itched and itched as allergic.Not funny ending up in the prisoner like hospital striped ones with the stripes made up of the name Medway Maritime Hospital and all made unisex so to long and so turned up cuffs and legs. I so wish you well. x

Hi! It went well, and I’m feeling a lot more human today!

I had a shower which felt good but was also tiring 🙄

I think I’ll get sticks today, in preparation for home tomorrow.
