I just want to say thank you to everyone who read my rants on my Pip application and pushed and supported me not to give up. Thank you for all your good wishes on my successful outcome.. to those who are going through the process be thorough base your difficulties on your worst days . When I spoke to DWP last night they focused on the bad. I was asked when I found it difficult to go to the toilet... I said mostly I was fine but he then asked do you have any problems at anytime? Yes during the night I’m so stiff getting on the toilet that I grab the radiator to lower myself down then to get back up.. he said this qualifies as difficulties... such a different experience compared to my assessor he really understood this disease.(he certainly seamed to have a lot of medical knowledge regarding RD)I do think things are changing .
