Gee Hidden - Warfarin is not a medication to mess around with. Please don’t start Turmeric without speaking to either GP or Rheumy about this, cheers :)

Hiya Magnolia25. Is your Rheumy aware you're prescribed warfarin?

Warfarin and tumeric are catalogued as having a minor interaction with each other, with bleeding being documented in the literature.

It might be best to double check before commencing tumeric.

Turmeric is a blood thinner. I have a background as a natural health practitioner, I can’t stress enough the importance of talking to your doctor. These two are contraindicated.
