Catch up lunch

So yesterday was my first big trip on my own out to London to meet a friend for lunch. Both of us used to work together and party hard in the event industry world and with wry laughs and jokes we did wonder how we got to the point we were at yesterday both dealing ith health issues.

I put it down to lots of fine foods and fine wine and lots of fun times....

However I had an OH MY when we got to a shared dessert Raspberry Souffle which I ordered with trepidation and we were not disappointed. Bathlazar you did us proud. We also could not believe not 1 alcoholic drink on our table.

So I had to post a photo of it as it was damn fine and though it took me 2.5 hrs to get to London and then 4.5hrs to get home to see Jenny it was worth every ache and pain I have today.

We did share this is a photo from Bathlazar site.

That looks delightful, yum. I also had an eat lots of cake day! yesterday as it was a birthday celebration - cookie dough and a Victoria sponge - so good. I was worried I would pay the price but woke up relatively ok. Praying it's lasts. Hope you are pain free too. 😌
