Hi All it’s been a while again hope your all ok and welcome to new posters

Just a catch up while sat in my hospital bed

I suffered a heart attack recently and following yesterday’s tests it seems I will be undergoing an open heart bypass I’m expecting a visit from the consultant this morning hopefully things should be much clearer then

The other thing I attended hospital back in October for my Rituximab infusion and unfortunately the day after I had a PCA stroke which left me partially blinded in my left eye so all in all it’s been quite a difficult last few weeks but I have lots of support from family, work and medical professionals

Anyway enough about me hope your all ok and doing well I’ve missed talking to all my friends on the forum but will try and keep in touch more

Cheers everyone

So sorry to hear this Phil. I hope by now the Cardio Consultant has been to see you & you now have a clearer idea of what is to be done. My h had open heart surgery (CABG) a few years ago & having more investigations at the end of the year so have some idea how things go. I hope all goes well with you but keep in touch, let us know how you're doing.
