Blister under a callus

Anybody got any advice I have a blister under a callus on the side of my heel not sure how to treat it. I have had ankle stiffness and tendon problems for at least 8 weeks so I’ve been walking differently now have this. so sore can barely walk on it.🥺

Maybe a compeed plaster would help, they are a bit expensive, but I found them good in the past when I used to walk long distance.

I'm not sure what drugs you are on, but obviously it is important to try and prevent the blister becoming infected, compress can help keep it clean.

I'd agree that Compeed plasters are the best solution for a blister. There are some cheaper varieties on the market but I haven't found that they stick so well and are a false economy as the aim is to leave the Compeed plaster on as long as possible.

It shows that you have a point of pressure there that you need to protect in future if you have both a callus and a blister. Have you seen a podiatrist? You might need advice on footwear?

Thank you . Trying to get an appointment GP said I need to see my consultant but as I’ve said before I’m still waiting to see him. I need another steroid injection but my clinic can’t fit me in as they are so busy🙄another day off work

If you can get to a pharmacy, a pharmacist will see you and recommend which is the best plaster to purchase and how to take care of the blister/callus. Most Pharmacy's give very good advice. Take care.
