An update from last Wednesdays admission.I learnt on Friday my inflammation markers were high 109 when they should have been in single figures. More bad news i mean what more can i take. Well a lot more it seems as come Monday i was down the hospital for a trial run of bilateral injections. Well that nearly didn't take place as the bloods they took Wednesday night showed there was a bug in my blood. did anyone know what sort of bug it was off course not. I was in floods of tears thinking this isn't going to happen after all. Well they rang the microbiology unit at the other hospital who said though they didn't know what it was,the treatment could go ahead. Well one thing i learnt yesterday was it ain't a simple injection in your back. It was staff dressed with the x-ray aprons and there was six injections put into my back which just had anasethic as they needed to know exactly where they were going to put them when they come to do it properly. In the meantime they are going to set me up with another lidocaine infusion and they will be discussing with me about my neck as well.
My laptop went into hospital yesterday as it was glogged up with rubbish and a friend of ours cleaned it up for me. I felt as if i had had my right hand chopped off. I had my mobile,but it is not as easy to use as this is.xxxx
