Well i hope any of you have run into trouble with the snow. I haven't been out in it today. Yesterday i had a pscyhio appt at the hospital. I did well there and they were pleased with my progress with my knee. Then we walked to the path lab to get a blood test, that was my only walk of the day,at least it was a walk. Getting down there was a laugh, what should have been a 10min drive took 30mins The traffic on the 444 going into nuneaton was horrendous thankfully we was going the other way. The snow yesterday was very bad.
I had a very good day thursday, so good that i made the effort and went to a bl social. I put on make up and i felt really good. We had a pleasant evening all told and hubby took a photo of me dressed up as it is such as rare occasion. I felt that i was like i used too a long time ago. I wasn't too bad yesterday and i went to bed not feeling too bad. I slept until 8am this morning, but i didn't know how i felt,if you know what i mean. Don't feel ill but don't feel well. And so it continued until i went to sleep for nearly an hour and when i woke up i didn't feel so woolly headed, but my hands are so sore,so it seems i am still in a flare.
Well i hope you all don't suffer too much with the snow... xxxxxx

Hi Sylvi - great that you've had a few good days even in flare. We don't have any snow up here and glad for it I admit. It maybe coming up though so won't speak too soon. Tilda x
Glad you managed to get out sylvi it quite bad here so I,am not going to risk itmost days I,am bad enough walking when it not snowing lol you take care xxx
slow thaw here to day blizzard snow fri.. freezing now though roads like skating rink x
Hi Syliva,I'm glad that you enjoyed yourself, Snow is still in banbury After my walk yesterday i am also noticing it today, in my knee's and wrist's, Hope things get better for you soon...
Hi sylvi, pleased you got out. It makes such a difference when you have a nice evening out. I went to see les mis yesterday, what a great film that is. It was quite interesting trying to stand up after sitting still for three n a half hours!! I'm in Suffolk by the coast,we've had a lot of snow, the side roads & pavements are very icy, Ive been used to living in London where all the roads are gritted & with the sheer volume of cars & people the snow n ice never hang around for very long. I tried to go for a walk last Friday by the sea but the strong winds made it impossible. At least it looks pretty! Pleased your feeling better & with nice toe n finger nails too x
Caza, i didn't get up until 8.30am and i slept fairly well despite some strange dreams. It is snowing here in the midlands again,so no going out again for me. I may not put make-up on every day,but i like my nails to look good and i always put some perfume on even when i am not my best. It is silly the things we do to be normal, what do you do to keep things normal. I think i will post that thought up in a blog and see what answers i get. You stay warm. Love sylvia.xx
We have snow here and more is coming down as I type, hubby supposed to work but there will be an inspection on the course later. We wished they would make up their minds as its annoying having to make packed lunch etc.. when there's no need.
Sylvi, I always put make up on each day as it makes me look and feel better, even when I feel lousy. As my daughter says 'put on your face and the world can't see', we both do it. Try it and see if it helps you to feel better when your not too good. One step forward on the road, with you walking in the hospital, small steps become big ones, take it easy today after all your exertions over the past couple of days. Will do a catchup with you later today. xxx
Morning Georje, i am hoping hubby will take me to asda or tesco this morning so i can get a walk in and get out of the house. I don't put make-up on everyday as my eyes are not very good. I can't wear mascara at all now. The hospital is a good place to walk as it has long corridors to walk in and each deptmartment is miles apart.
what we need is the miners digging under this country then get some tug boats and drag the place to just off madira then we get 70deg all year round that will sort us
It's been snowing here for the last 7 days but thankfully we put on the snow tyres in November so we are not caught out. Hubbie is working this week-end (district nurse) so he is having to get to all the little hamlets in the mountains, had to put on the snow raquettes because he was thigh deep in snow. He dug out paths for me to get to the wood store etc so I am staying warm.
Hope that you managed to get out today and that you are not as sore.
Funny what you said about perfume etc, I have no sense of smell (since my chemo in 2003) but I was always put perfume on. If I buy a new perfume I have to rely on hubby to say whether it smells nice - is this a good idea? I could be going round smelling like who knows what!
good to hear you sounding more positive again. Hope the snow is not causing you too many problems today. It's pretty bad here today and am dreading the drive into work tomorrow. Workplace was closed on Friday due to snow, but as I wasn't due to work Fridays didn't get extra day off unfortunately. Keep warm.
