Fell in the bathroom last night............

Morning all,well i fell in the bathroom last night and managed to hurt my already bad back. Thankfully i didn't hurt my toes that were operated on. So here i sit in my recliner with my lower back sore. So it will be pain killers all day. Hugs to you all.xxxxx

Oh blimey Sylvi you poor thing. maybe you should get yourself checked out.I remember doing that years ago .I fell while getting out the bath and hit my back on edge of toilet...felt like I'd been kicked by a horse it was so painful. Really feel for you. Dose up on painkillers and hope you have some help from family at home.

Ouch ! I’m quite new to this forum n love reading your posts. Lots of rest and a hot water bottle definitely needed. Please don’t ignore your body telling you that you need a check up. 🤗🤗

My normally fit n healthy hubby slipped getting out the bath just over a week ago.He banged his back on the taps and his side on the bath. Should add at this point he’s a chunky build. After I made sure he was okish we noticed he’d pulled the bath away from the wall in the corner. The day after we noticed we had water coming through the kitchen ceiling which went on to blow the downstairs lights.

He had damaged the hot water pipe under bath Bathroom is now fixed. Still have ceiling to repair.

My poor hubby a still struggling as he cracked a rib 😖

Rest up sylvi , if it’s still very sore tomorrow please go to your doctor, maybe some diazepam might help if the muscles are in a bit of spasm . Hope you feel better soon xxx

Oh 'eck, bar the stairs, the bathrooms one of the worst places you can fall. Hope you're back's not hurting too much and you recover soon.

I've only fallen over once since my RA's been bad....I lost my balance while descending the garden steps. I toppled (i like that word) backwards and landed flat on my back amongst a bunch of shrubs, which luckily broke my fall. I suffered just a few minor scratches, the real problem was I couldn't get back up and had to call my wife to help me get back on my feet. Lucky she was home, as there was no way I could have got out up on my own accord.

Wishbone i was doing my usual thing called gardening three years ago when i caeeied a tray of plants i had brought back from holiday.They were in the porch,i carried them through the house out the back door and down the garden steps whereby i fell and broke my ankle in two places. My next door neighbour came straight round,i woke my son and dil up and they came rushing down. My son called 999 whereby the ambulance came and took me to hospital. Hubby was in a meeting somewhere and they couldn't get hold of him so they rang my daughter who rang someone else who was at the meeting and thankfully he had left his phone on and my daughter got him to go home in a hurry. They put me straight in plaster after the x-ray and i had to stay in hospital until some of the swelling went down before they could operate. So your not the only silly bugger who can fall in the garden darling.xxxx

What a nightmare! It'll be like a walk in the park recovering from this fall then. You certainly don't have much luck Sylvi.

Jeez. Must be in the air! I totally tripped over a concrete block in the parking lot with both my grandgirls on the way to tracking them out for supper. Smashed my sore knee and elbow badly and crunched my already swollen and sore toes so bad all my toe polish came off on my right foot. Kept going tho after someone helped me up, bleeding and crying. I didn’t want to let them down.

Ice and pain pills all day and night. Still so sore!

Btw have any of you become anemic and decreased kidney function on mtx and sulfasalazine?

Hope you're okay Sylvi, take care. I apologise if I have missed any of your posts, I haven't been on for some time not feeling very well and in a lot of pain. It is either very cold and snowing or very hot and humid here all of which is effecting my RA.
