On Wednesday I fell of my bike, I got my right foot stuck getting off. It was on uneven ground and I came to a halt. My left foot was flat down on the ground and before I could get my foot out I felt myself falling and fell flat on the ground. I just missed hitting my head, but my right palm was facing up and I cut my hand. It's all brusied up to my thumb. I was so embarrassed and once Jim got the bike off me I jumped up! I was shaken, but carried on until I got home. my shoulder is very painful. A massive big bruise on my right thigh. Yesterday I went to Cleethorpes for the day and over did the walk. We were walking for 5 hours and was in agony with my hip and my shoulder. I am so tired and ache all over. I think today when I get back from Norfolk I will not be doing anything for a few days! I start back at work on Tuesday and it's going to be manic! As I am a breakfast chef for 3 premier inns.
Take care everyone

Before you do anyhing darling i think you should get yourself checked over as having RA will make things worse. You want to be able to go back to work then get yourself checked. xxxxx
I lost my confidence with my bike as came off twice as my balance is slightly off now. But will get back on the damn thing soon almost want to put trainer wheels on🤪
Blimey, I think I’d be in hospital if I did half of the activity you do and I’m only 39 🤣 Hope you heal quickly from the nasty bike fall. And good luck at work. I could murder a nice breakfast right now! x
I did something similar last week. Got to work, was in the car park, which is mostly tarmac and gravel, and got my foot caught getting off. Grazed my elbow and had a nasty bruise. Saved from embarrassment as it was 6am and no one about. Blooming sore though.
I think as sylvi says it may be good to get yourself checked with starting back at work on Tuesday. Hope your little grand daughter is doing well? Take care xx
I feel ok from my bike fall, just a stiff shoulder, and got some bruises! I am now in Norfolk visiting my sister with my other sister, then back home tonight!
Wishing you a swift recovery. I'm too scared to get on a bike, feel so weedy and stiff from the RA and the longer I put it off the more unlikely it becomes.
Ouch! I hope you are not too bruised after your fall. I really hope your return to work goes okay for you too next week. I have some serious conversations to have with work about when or if I will return to work. Time for me to stop burying my head in the sand and start to look after myself. I love being there for other people but it is affecting me greatly. Thinking of you x
