Last night on the pier

I would just like to thank all of you for one of the most hysterical evening I've had in a long while...you were all great..I was laughing out loud most of the time...they say that laughter is the best meds and it certainly was. Thank you..maryx. Ps. Has anyone seen a one legged chicken?

I couldn't get back on. The volume froze my iPad and main computer! Grrrr. Apparently though I was eaten by Father Christmas ho mistook me for a satsuma!!

I too was unable to get on the pier too many revelers from The NRAS site........ ha ha

I enjoyed it but everything froze couldn't get back on so took a back seat in santas grotto...I'm still there hehe Nicola x

I arrived just as you all were leaving, some headed into the Pub. The zip line went well, from the time I left the shores of New Jersey until about 1.829m short of the pier, whoever put that stop thingey short of the pier needs to be punished . Oh I stopped alright!, had to swim the rest of the way, my Mrs Claus outfit, slightly modified in my style, such as was in "Strickly", red filmy, gauzey material, V neck and back, all wet and conforming to my form!! Sorry I missed all of you, had to hold Bridget's travel case above the water also, so landing was a bit of a struggle Have had a couple nips of dear ol' Bailey's, also zipped up my morning coffee with a dram or two, oh the power of that stuff! Has any one tried Bailey's Caramel ? Very fine!

Must turn in, it's been a long round-trip!

All best wishes for Fiona and Cece, we must be careful not to make them laugh too hard, they could fall off the bed!! ttfn

I believe it was wonderful, but had so many Baileys I think I fell asleep - either that or I was too drunk to remember anything. Mysteriously I've found a one legged chicken roaming around inside my reindeer onesie!! xx

I've always wanted to go there...if others up for it so am I...my problem is normally Saturday is my morphine day!!!!!! Chicken has just turned up home..she is now on a pair of roller skates...well to be factual...she.s on one skate...she thoroughly enjoyed herself...she said someone kept giving her brandy she spent the weekend on the moon!! X

I vaguely remember taking a run and a high jump, I think chicken must have given me a boost. Let's make it after Christmas then. I fancy abseiling down the Chrysler Building. But I want to get a Marilyn Munro dress made so it billows up when I land. Now, about that poem.......
