But it’s arrival is outshone by one of our Jade plants which has decided to flower with the most exquisite pink and white affair... I didn’t even know that they flowered until now!
RA still ticking over low enough to allow me to enjoy a winter walk (with toe warmers stuck on my socks!), keep working and enjoying things so long as I am strict with pacing myself and getting plenty of rest with healthy (-ish!) eating. Oh and I keep taking my DMARD.

Ours in the garden in Spain used to flower but I can't get the one we have here to. It's large enough, probably two foot maybe a little less but will not flower. Any tips?

I had one for 20 years and it never flowered, and then I forgot to bring it in in winter and killed it. You must have a special touch!
Sorry NMH no tips on how to get the plant to flower as I just didn’t know that they did. It’s in the sun room so gets plenty of light (and warmth in the summer) so maybe a light sunny space is the key.

It's in the porch/conservatory so the sunniest or lightest place in the house & never gets moved, it's too big & heavy to be. I wonder if it's too cold in winter maybe. The ones in Spain were much bigger & planted in the ground, no problems with those flowering, realise now I took them for granted! Thanks anyhow Ali.

to encourage flowering google suggests " The general advice is at the end of summer bring the plant into a spot that will provide it with a few hours daylight, stop giving it fertiliser, reduce watering and provide full darkness at night -- then you may see them bloom, in the winter. The plant will see this as a resting period." but no guarantees given!
How gorgeous. I didn't know that they flowered either and I've had them for years on and off. You're obviously treating them very well. It's good to know you're doing well too. Long may it continue. Hugs
