Last day in Cornwall.....

This is our last full day in cornwall. This morning we went to falmouth to have a look around trago mills. When we came away i had brought a rocking chair for me to use in the garden. It is a high type of chair so i can get in and out of quite easily.

Then this afternoon we went into st ives to see lisa. We had a lovely couple of hours with her and the weather held off for us which was lovely. Anybody coming this way she is a lovely person to meet.

Then we came back to our site. Hubby is packing and he has bundled me over to the clubhouse so he can do it with ease and not having me interfere, bless him.

I had a very bad night last night. I didn't sleep at all well and today i don't feel too clever either. I keep coughing which i don't like and my throat is very dry as well.

Tomorrow we are off early and i hope the weather doesn't cause us too much of a problem with the rain that is is supposed to nbe coming with us.

Hope you all are well.

Pleased you have enjoyed it Sylv despite the problems with your scooter and the weather. Think sometimes it does us all good to get away from our normal environment.

Hoping to get down to Poole in a few weeks with my mum and my 12 year old nephew who will be over from America. Just dreading the 5 hour drive down there as furthest I have driven lately is 70 miles. Just know I will enjoy it when I get there, so many cousins and aunts to see.

Hope you have a good journey home. xx

I have been watching all the flooding on the tv Sylvie and they were at st ives this morning waiting for the river to rise. I take it that nothing to disastrous happened.

It hasn't been great weather for your holiday but it does sound as though you really did enjoy yourself. That rocking chair sounds ideal, hopefully you will get loads of opportunities sitting in the garden basking in the sunshine.

Safe journey back.

Hope you have a better night tonight and a problem free journey home. It's been lovely hearing about your time away, I've thoroughly enjoyed reading "Sylvi's Rough guide to Cornwall" lol. Lisa, you better watch out or we'll all be hot footing it down to visit you :-)

Hi Sylvi

Love the pic. Hopefully you will feel more comfortable in your own bed when you get home. Do you think you are coming down with something? Hopefully not.

Safe journey home for you & hubby. I think the rain is meant to be further north tomorrow, so you should be ok for most of your journey.

Take care Joanne x

Pleased you managed to get away so soon after you knee open, hope you soon get home and settle back into your own bed etc and start looking. For the next getaway xxx

It's been fun to follow you, Sylvi! You seem brighter, more light-hearted, despite some adversities, like the scooter ! It will be good to see you back here and on FB soon too. Now get home and get rested! L.xx

Thank you loretta. I feel brighter in myself at the moment. It was nice just spending time alone with hubby,we always have someone around either grace or george when he's in the country.

Love sylvi. xxx
