Been following along at home as I things have been a little manic lately with son in law in a motorbike accident and had to rush up to look after him and two grand kids while my daughter took the eldest girl to taekwondo national championships. She got bronze in her first ever national championships, yay. Anyhow my issue, to add to the joy of everything else, is that I have developed severe issues with my neck with a number of issues going on, causing pain down both arms and into my hands causing numbness every time they are raised slightly, which makes driving very interesting. I think I must look as though I am waving hello to everyone as I go along as I shake them to make then feel again. So I have to go to a spine specialist to see what they can do. Not sure if it will be injections or surgery, both of which freak me out enormously. It is also affecting my left leg and getting pain in my groin area and down to my knee. Apparently I have spondylosis in my lower spine with disc protrusions at all levels. Woo hoo me, at last not as painful as my neck. So now that I have been re diagnosed for the moment with PsA I am wondering if this is leading to Ankolysing spondylosis. I guess I will not know until I get to see the rheumy as the registrar just Tefloned me back to my GP for treatment, leaving me a phone message saying, "please call your GP". That was it. Wait until I tell head of rheumatology what transpired. This stupid disease is costing me a fortune. I wish it would just settle down after nearly 6 years.

I feel for you, its been going on now for years and you need some good news for a change. Hope son-in-law is not too badly hurt.
Sending you gentle hugs and best wishes. XXX

Yeah I just want a break from something new popping up and costing me heaps of money. Oh well the joy of life. hahah
My SiL will mend, he has fractured vertebrae and crush fractures in his left wrist and hand, still trying to determine exactly what and maybe broken ribs too. They were all going to the nationals as a family but then that happened a week before so he couldn't travel and easier for me to go up and look after him and the other two.
Oh blimey! The fun just never stops for you does it? I do hope your son in law mends quickly from his crash and that a proper celebration of your granddaughter's success can happen soon. Blooming docs. Don't you just wish they would just make up their minds? I really hope you get some answers very soon. Hugs

ps I wish I could drive behind you for a while. All that waving! Made me giggle
He is off work for at least three months so loss of income over the Christmas period will hit hard. We had flowers and chocolates and a card when she got home and apparently she put her huge medal around her neck like an Olympian when they landed and wore ti through the airport. Hahaha it was very cute.
I don't realise I am doing it now as I do it all day long at work too. When someone passed me and looked at me I realised that they must have been watching me shake out my hands for the past 50 kms or so. Hahaha
Yeah I couldn't believe the registrar who just brushed me off. I will be telling head of rheumatology about that. I am not sure what their role is if they have no care for their patients. I go to spinal surgeon on 24th so I guess I will know from there what is going to happen. I am just sick of being in excruciating pain in my lower back and neck and not being able to sleep. Wish I was a horse and I could sleep standing up, that would help. hehehe
If you didn't laugh, you'd cry, eh? Wishing you better
