Colonoscopy and Gastritis

Hello!

I'm from Afghanistan and currently i live in Germany i have stomach pain, dizziness, bloating, belching, losing weight, Constipation, diareh, nausea and .....etc since 2 months untill now and in last one month even i could not continue my work, and i had alot of blood tests, stools tests, Ultrasound all everythings were ok, but finally i had a Esophagogastroduodenoscopy test and after test doctor told me that i have Gastritis and i take Pantoprazole 40 mg 1 Morning and 1 evening and also i toke for a while Gastrovegetalin 225 mg and Iberogast drop but still all these medicine didn't help me, and in last 2 weeks i have a new strong pain in upper abdomen in right side, and it becomes more after eating, and also i can't eat normally i eat so less and after eating my stomach becomes very big like a pregnant lady, but doctor told me to i do a Colonoscopy and in 10 of july 8 days later i will have that, but I'm not feeling comfortable with this and little scared of side effects after Colonoscopy, so dears my question is this from you did anyone had Colonoscopy before to share his/her experiences with me, and also if anyone has directions for decreasing of Gastritis without medciene tell me please i will appreciate it.

This is a forum for people with rheumatoid arthritis and similar diseases. So this is not really our subject even tho' a lot of us also have digestive problems. Generally with gastritis is is also important to look at your diet and particularly avoid oily and fatty food, or heavily processed food.

However I have had a colonoscopy and it was completely fine. The preparation was worse than the procedure - but having one can save your life so it's worth it.
