What's bad few daysive had with these horrid dry eyes!!

I use Systain eye drops and some " long lasting " viscotears.

While I'm.in moan mode I've got bad itchy prickly heat on my arms too. No antihistamines has helped. This prickly heat is caused by me driving the car with the window down. I burn so easy since been on the tablets

I have itchy skin all the time so I take it practically every day. Clemmie

Hi, I'm a lupie and therefore live like a vampire. Windows up on the car which Ive now had tinted. I don't go out without suncream factor 50. I too use Systaine which I find are the better eye drops, as they last longer, but on these sunny days I can be putting in once an hour. Using sun or tinted glasses also helps. Enjoy your moan, it helps.

You could perhaps try using heated eyepads for fifteen minutes and afterwards massage around the back of your eye lids and centre rim of your eyes for a half a minute. If your Mybomean Glands (MGD) aren't functioning properly or you have blepharitis this will really help. Artelac day and night gel has helped me enormously, and otherwise I use Hyloforte drops - both on repeat prescription along with Celluvisc and Lacrilube.

I use Factor 50 all the time now and wear a wide brim hat and shades. I no longer get prickly heat - but then I haven't been in a hot country for a while- I live in Scotland!

Likewise re: suffering with dry gritty eyes!

Not nice and my vision also seems to be affected, so having to have me eyes tested again! (Only had them tested last year and had first pair of varifocals - hoping I dont need a stronger lens prescription - as rather expensive!!!)

I've tried hypermellose and Optrex Intensive eye drops but not helping. So above info very helpful, will ask my rheumy to prescribe one of the above 👍 Many thanks ☺
