I have just read an article in My Weekly by a GP recomending Rosehip tablets instead of painkillers for RA pain. I wondered if anyone had tried it and could give me their opinion please. Anything that helps with RA can't be bad, or can it. Thanks.

A friend told me about Rosehip a couple if years ago ...I tried it & sadly found no benefit.......but it could work & it's not too expensive so worth a try.!
I take rosehip for osteoarthritis and it helps me. It does nothing for the RA. Arthritis Research have looked at the research about it and list it for osteo. There have been other posts on here about it too that you might like to look at.
It seems to be one of those supplements that gets mixed results, works for some but not for all. I've not tried it myself for RD or OA (though I do remember mum giving it me in wintertime!) though this link from ARUK may be helpful arthritisresearchuk.org/art...
