Turns out I have a hiatus hernia in my oesophagus. Other than that, I had biopsies in my duodenum, first part and second part....

Oh moomin that sounds awful and sorry you have had such a bad experience.Try not to dwell on it it's over now.

I hope that they can now give you treatment and soon have you on the mend.

Not a walk in the park then?. But it's done.They found a hiatus hernia when I had mine done, my biopsies came back benign. Hope your results are all good.

Sorry to hear that, on the bright side imagine it without any sedation. Actually, don't.

Strange it wasn't very effective it usually knocks me right out.

Try not to dwell, it's done now, you possibly didn't worry as much (which wouldn't have helped at all) as you were expecting to be sedated and they found something relatively minor and did some routine tests.

Onwards and upwards. 😬
