Hope it goes well Deejojo, it’ll be over before you know it, try not to worry too much, easier said than done I know.

It’s not so bad Deejojo, I love to watch it on the screen like the alien film found it fascinating, but moist people opt for sedation, these have to be done, wishing you good results xx

Sure you will be fine had several. Last one was awake all the time and watched the procedure on the monitor. Meant I could drive home after it.

I do wonder why so many on the forum have endoscpies , and not just once?

My thoughts to. I have gut issues with MTX, maybe it's the drugs we take ?

Or the gut connection with RA ?

I do think as well that drugs, not only mtx do cause many stomach problems. Then again most of the people here who have had the endoscopy ( actually all) that I have read about are very relieved afterwards since it was nothing. Is the anemia that is often the reason? Are all these endoscopies really necessary, I think my question really is? I don't know how it is in UK but here in France doctors really love to send you to all possible examinations.

I think many Drs are scared of 'missing ' something. My endoscopy showed a mild degree of watermelon , which might be nothing, but might be indicative of AID, except no one mentioned it to me.

I have had this done endoscope and colonscope to it's not that bad although I would say I took the sedation it was over very quick amy

I took the throat spray rather than sedation and had no problems at all. It's all over in under 5 mind. The thought of it was much worse than the procedure.

You'll be fine. You're having sedation so you're aware but don't really care. You can watch in on the screen, if you're the type who likes to that is!

Is this another Denise or is it one cancelled & rearranged? It's just you were having one last month.

I have had it twice.first time sedation did not work so just watched on the screen a bit uncomfortable but not painful the thought of it worried me more but it is just another thing we have to put up with good luck x
