I think he needs to see a doctor, Jadepup. That sounds like a circulation problem, maybe related to his heart or maybe his diabetes. It doesn't sound like a RA symptom, particularly. But I'm not a doctor and he needs to see someone who is.
Hi JADEPUP
Agree with flow4 that with that medical history he needs a doctor.
Although I used to get the exact same symptoms from RA. You don't say if he had RA. Or what medication he might be on for it.
But with heart problems any health issues should be attended to by a doctor.

I was diagnosed with rhuematoid arthritis in January having had symptoms since May. Therefore I am new to this long term condition. I returned to work in mid March having been off through the pain in my hands which prevented me to continue in my role.
I started methrotrexate at diagnosis in January. At my last review they added hydrochloroquine which I have had for 3 weeks.
I am very new to this and unsure what the future holds for me but am positive. I was told that I have seropositive RA.
The last week I have felt quite well but today I'm feeling quite tired and stiff with some discomfort in my wrists. Pain has been quite good until today.
I am currently working full time but my employer is applying pressure to reduce my hours which I am not keen to do as I am the main bread earner due to my partner who also has a long term condition and has not worked for 26 years.
Can anyone explain to me what difference there is between sero negative and sero positive RA?
