Can't say I recommend it. In fact, I thoroughly do NOT recommend it. Woke up and the cough was worse (!) so I talked to my gp. It turns out my xrays showed possible pneumonia but he wanted to wait and see. I've gotten worse, so no more waiting - I start on anti-biotics and steroids as soon as darling Matthew gets home. CT is on the ninthof June...how long should I expect this wretched cough to hang around? It's week two without meds, though my pain med is still kicking butt.
I have pneumonia, starting anti-biotics.: Can't say I... - NRAS
I have pneumonia, starting anti-biotics.
No, no, no. This has got to stop! If you aren't better within a few days, I expect they will want you in hospital so that they can keep their eye on you and possibly give you a drip. XX
You poor thing! I've had pneumonia twice and felt like a wet rag that someone was stomping on. Hope antibiotics kick in ASAP.
Oh no, you don't want that! Send it back from whence it came Bats. x

Hugs for better times very soon. I was recommended Friars Balsam to rub on chest last year I think - it seemed to relieve the pneumonia cough a bit but may just have been the two lots of antibiotics! Xx

Hi Bats, really sorry to hear that you are unwell. I hope you feel better very soon. Take care, Sue xx
So sorry....have had it twice myself, you must look after yourself, it can knock the stuffing out of you. Hope the antibiotics kick in swiftly. Last thing you wanted! Do keep in touch. Best wishes, Mavis xx
